Managing Your Documents on E1

An overview of the different document management functions on your Procurement phase project

You might find that you need to review and make changes to your documentation when managing Procurement phase projects. Below is a guide for some of the actions available on the Documents page.

Setting and updating documents revisions and names

  • Select the check box next to the document(s) you wish to edit
  • Select 'Edit' - a pop-up will appear
  • Here you can edit the Document Drawing Number, Document title and Revision version
  • Make changes and select 'Save & Update Details'

Downloading documents that have been uploaded

  • Select the check box next to the document(s) you wish to download
  • Select 'Download'
  • They will download as a zip file and in the folder structure as they appear in EstimateOne

Deleting documents that have been uploaded

  • Select the check box next to the document(s) you wish to delete
  • Select 'More'
  • Select 'Delete'
  • Select 'Delete' again - reconfirming you wish to delete. Please note, this action cannot be undone.

Moving an uploaded document to a different folder

  • Select the check box next to the document(s) you wish to move
  • Select 'More'
  • Select 'Change Folder'
  • Choose whether you'd like to move into an Existing or New Folder
  • Select 'Move Documents'

Export a document register of all documents.

  • Select the check box next to the document(s) you wish to export
  • Select '⌃More'
  • Select 'Export Document Register'
  • Your file will download and will show details about the selected documents, including previous revisions
